Dream Machine is taking place on the June Long Weekend (8th-12th June) 2023. The festival is located at the exclusive Nusa Dua Resort Bali, on the eastern side of the Bukit Peninsula. There will be events at a number of the beachfront resorts during the day with the main stage located on the Peninsula’s ‘The Island’.
Dream Machine Festival is four days and nights of sun, sea, sounds, luxury and adventure. From morning yoga, swimming and snorkelling to cocktails and DJ’s by the pool each afternoon. At night, the Dream Machine main arena ‘The Island’ will light up the Bali Peninsula! There will be secret pop ups and much much more to follow.
If you’re looking for non-stop action, there will be an array of add ons available to purchase on the website, from boat parties and private yacht charters to heli tours, long lunches and an epic recovery party on the 12th June…if you want to add an extra night.
There are a range of 4 & 5-star resort accommodations to choose from, with either beachfront access or tropical settings depending on budget and preference.
Included in your package are return airport transfers. If you are traveling from other areas within Bali you will have to make your own way to your accommodation. There will be no refund for unused transfers.
All accommodation is located within Nusa Dua Resort with most properties within a short walk to the beach and Dream Machine’s main arena ‘The Island’. For those located further away, many of the hotels will offer a shuttle service or you can book a taxi for a very small fee.
The official currency of Bali (and all of Indonesia) is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), however the US Dollar is still widely used. All resorts will also accept credit/debit cards.
You must follow all current Indonesian entry requirements as well as any new requirements which may come into effect prior to arrival, including vaccination and testing requirements. The legal drinking age in Indonesia is 21+ years, however you can attend the event as 18+ years, you will be issued with a different wristband and will not be served alcohol. You will need to bring a valid photo ID to be permitted into the festival;
Dream Machine does not condone drug use, or any behaviour that may knowingly cause harm to an individual.
Indonesia has one of the strictest drug policies in the world. Possession of illegal substances is a serious offence and the Indonesian authorities have a zero-tolerance policy. Those caught face huge fines, lengthy prison sentences, or even the death penalty. DO NOT RISK IT!
Dream Machine cannot help you if an issue arises as we are not responsible for your actions, so please don’t bring anything with you that will prevent you from enjoying the festival.

All packages are set for 4 nights from the 8th - 12th June, however you have the option to add extra nights pre/post the festival dates. We will keep the party going with a ‘Welcome Party’ and a ‘Recovery Party’ so we suggest adding an extra night or two.
Packages are available for sale directly from The Dream Machine website. Pre-sale commences on Tuesday 18th October from 6pm (AEDT) which will give you priority access to packages and accommodation types. Public on-sale begins Wednesday 19th October from 12noon (AEDT).
Daily breakfast is included in all packages, all other meals are at your own expense.
All packages must be purchased online with debit/credit card. All major cards are accepted. There is a 3.9% fee added to all payments (booking fee and card fee).
All packages can be secured with a AUD $199 per person deposit.
Yes, all subsequent payments will be automatically charged to your credit/debit card. Depending on date of purchase you will be charged in equal instalments with final payment due no later than 31st January 2023.
Amendments can be made at Dream Machine's discretion with an AUD $50pp amendment fee. Any amendments to your package will cancel your payment plan and you will be required to make manual payments as advised by the team.
Yes, we are able to facilitate a name change for you, this needs to be requested via email at least 30 days prior to festival start date. There is a AUD $50 name change fee. Accurate ticket holder names will be required for accommodation, proof of age, and safety purposes at the festival.
No, once your deposit is made, the package is automatically confirmed and refunds are not available. This is the same for all subsequent instalments.
A resale facility will be available for packages only once the event has fully sold out. Resale will be available through the Dream Machine office once your package is paid in full. It will incur an admin fee of AUD $50pp.
Yes, we require all guests to take out travel insurance. We recommend purchasing your policy as soon as you pay your deposit. This will cover you if circumstances arise that prevent you from travelling. For an online quote click here.

Yes, you can bring your kids to the resorts, we recommend Melia, Sofitel or Courtyard by Marriott. Kids 1-4yrs can stay free of charge in existing bedding. For kids 4yrs+ requiring extra bedding and breakfast, please contact us for rates.
No, we want to keep Dream Machine an intimate experience, so festival access is exclusive for our package guests only.
The Dream Machine main arena will be held on the Nusa Dua Peninsula at ‘The Island’. Just in front of the Grand Hyatt Resort.
No, the resorts and all events are fully licensed so you can not bring your own alcohol.
Your festival wristband will be available for collection from the Info Desk outside of the main arena. Refer to the interactive map on the APP for the location and opening times.
Yes, there will be first aid on hand at all events.
The timetable will be released in the week leading up to the event on the Dream Machine App.
Yes, there will be a range of food and beverage options available at all events, including vegetarian and vegan options.
At our Main Arena, will will be using an RFID payment system. Please refer to the "RFID Wristband information" in the FAQs for more info on this.
Outside of the main arena, all venues operate their own payment systems, where you will be able to pay with cash or credit card.
You must be 18+ to attend the main arena, and all other Dream Machine events, make sure you bring valid ID. You must be 21+ to be served alcohol in Bali.
If you lose your wristband, we can replace it for a small fee of $10, but please note, wristbands must be treated like cash! If you loose your wristband, any funds loaded onto your old wristband will not be redeemable or transferrable.
Most accommodation is within walking distance to the Dream Machine main arena. For those located further back in Nusa Dua, some hotels will offer shuttles or you can jump in a taxi.
Professional cameras, and any camera with a detachable lens, are not permitted. You can, however, bring in a small point and shoot camera, a disposable camera and your smart phone.
All bags are subject to a safety and security search upon entry and any prohibited items will be confiscated and disposed of. It is a condition of entry to Dream Machine that a search of person or possessions may be required at the time of entry to the venue.
Upon arrival at Nusa Dua, please visit our Info Desk where your festival ticket will be scanned, and you will receive your wristband!
To load funds onto your wristband, you will need to top up online at dreammachine.cashlessportal.com.

No. Every time you add funds onto your account online, you will need to visit one of our top up staff to complete the process of loading it onto your wristband.
Our top-up staff will be located at the info desk (outside of Grand Hyatt), the ticketing booth (outside of the Main Arena) and roaming inside the Main Arena.
If you do not visit one of them to scan your QR code, then the funds will not transfer onto your wristband.
To avoid having to do this daily, we recommend you load up enough funds prior to your arrival so that you hopefully only need to have it scanned once to save time!
Simply tap your wristband at the point of sale at the bar or merch stand at the Main Arena to pay for your order. The amount due will be automatically deducted.
Local food vendors will have food available for sale. You will need local cash currency if you wish to buy food products from these local vendors.
No. The RFID system will only be used at our Main Arena. All other venues and events operate their own bars, and therefore, you will be buying drinks directly with them using cash or card.
Cashless will be the only payment method for the bars and merch at the Main Arena.
Local food vendors will have food available for sale. You will need local cash currency if you wish to buy food products from these local vendors.
You can request a balance check when you make a transaction or when visiting one of our top up staff.
If your wristband is lost or stolen, you can get a replacement. However, please keep in mind that your wristband is similar to cash. This means we can issue a new wristband, but your credit will be lost. You will be charged $50 for a lost wristband.
If you lose your wristband at an event and are given a replacement, please see the Wristband Team at the Festival Info Desk.
If you get a replacement wristband, do not top up your wristband with your online account. Your online account will be linked to your lost wristband and we will be unable to load the funds to the new wristband. Chat to the wristband staff who will be able to assist.
No, you can’t top up multiple wristbands from the same account. For each wristband you will have to create a separate account to top up online.
No, your credit is not transferable.
You can claim back any unused funds online up to 7 days after the event. Refund cut off close at 12pm on Wednesday 21st June.
You will need your wristband id number for your refund process.

To cash out, visit https://forms.gle/PMwb6DWfkLppbxWL9 and register your wristband. Cashout will open at 12pm on Wednesday 14th June, 2023 and close at 12pm on Wednesday 21st June, 2023. Refunds will be subject to a AUD$1 processing fee.
Refunds will take 7-10 business days, depending on your bank.
No. Your wristband acts like cash. Without your wristband ID, we unfortunately can’t provide you with a refund.
The wristband is only valid during the event.
The wristband will still be accepted if it has funds on it. However, you are welcome to collect another wristband free of charge at the entrance to the festival. Your wristband is water-resistant.

You will be charged AUD $2 activation fee on your first topup. You will not be charged for subsequent top ups. Wristbands will be subject to a AUD$1 refund fee.
